Hotel Artesia Honored at NAIOP 2009 Awards of Excellence

Hotel Artesia, the new 51-room boutique hotel in Artesia New Mexico, received an Award of Merit at the recent 2009 Awards of Excellence luncheon given by the New Mexico Chapter of the NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association). The Hotel Artesia was one of four finalists in the Hospitality category that included such industry notables as Encantado, an Auberge Resort, Sandia Casino and Uptown Sheraton.

"We are thrilled and honored to receive this award on behalf of the Hotel Artesia," says Richard Hefler, president of Zydeco, the company that developed and now operates the hotel.
